About EQIP
EQIP is a Management Services Consultancy run by Dave Henrys MMS (Dip), former Business
Support Manager with Flintshire County Council with over 25 years local government service with Wrexham Maelor,
South Bedfordshire, Delyn and Flintshire Councils.
A fully qualified Management Services professional, Dave
began my working life in Work Study and Organisation & Methods before Compulsory Competitive Tendering came
along, requiring new skills in retaining work for front-line services.
Since then, Dave has been closely involved in
Best Value Reviews, Performance Management, Benchmarking, Base Budget Reviews, Organisational Restructuring, Quality Assurance
(leading to ISO 9001:2000 accreditation), Business Planning and the Wales Programme for Improvement, as well as
developing a wide range of contacts through a variety of facilitating roles with APSE's (Association for Public
Service Excellence) Performance Networks. During the later years, he managed a support team that provided project
management, as well as financial, health & safety and administrative support to front-line services.
He has now fulfilled his ambition of working for himself and taking an unprecedented mixture of skills, knowledge and
experience across a wider spectrum.
We are able to provide any of a range of Management Services skills on a project
basis or as interim managers specialising in change management scenarios.
Dave is also an Associate with the APSE (The Association for Public Service Excellence) Best Value Consultancy, having spent
several years involved with their Performance Networks service. He is currently engaged on a major "street scene" / "neighbourhood" project with them and partners such as ENCAMS (Keep Britain Tidy).
On top of all this, Dave also runs a photography business in tandem (Dave Henrys Photography (see www.dhphotos.co.uk).
